Our Savior's Lutheran Church

Section 8, Higdem Township,  Polk Co., Minnesota

Two miles south of Oslo, Minnesota

Our Saviors Lutheran Church was organized in the Mathias Anderson school house on January 19, 1891, and Pastor O.S. Houkom held services in various places.  Ole J. Brennun who owned land in Section 8 donated part of his land to build the church in 1895.  Our Saviors Lutheran church was also referred to as the "Granville Church." This church closed sometime in the 1960s.

The cemetery is well cared for and the stones are in excellent condition.

Many thanks to Ann for taking the picture below - in 2004. It is dedicated to the church itself, and located in the cemetery.
