SOO SURVEYORS ENROUTE HERE

ONE CREW IS RUNNING LINE TO CROOKSTON FROM PLUMMER

VIA RED LAKE FALLS

WILL LATER CONTINUE THE SURVEY TO GRAND FORKS - MAN RUMORS.

From Thursday's Daily - Information was received last evening of an authentic character, in fact, from a Soo construction man himself, to the effect that 30 surveyors in the employ of the Soo road arrived at Plummer a few days ago and one crew at once started running a line to Red Lake Falls and will continue it to Crookston and later to Grand Forks.

The Times called Red Lake Falls this morning and the report was confirmed by two leading citizens of that place, who had talked with the surveyors personally, and the crew will reach Red Lake Falls within a day or two.

The Commercial club of Crookston will take this matter up at once, probably, or as soon as they hear of it, and some action will be taken to secure information regarding what the plans of the Soo are and what will be expected of Crookston, if anything.

The entrance of the Soo into Crookston would mean a great deal to the future of the city.
