LOT SALES BROKE RECORDS

GRANDVIEW PLACE LOTS TO THE VALUE OF $6,390 WERE SOLD SUNDAY
PURCHASERS ARE PLEASED, AS ARE OWNERS OF ADDITION,
WHO GIVE TIMES CREDIT AS ADVERTISING MEDIUM

The sale held by the Grand View Syndicate of Grand View Place lots Sunday was largely attended and was very successful. The sales of lots aggregated $6, 855, which is probably the record for lot sales in Crookston. The owners of the addition are well satisfied with the results and state that the advertising in the Times contributed greatly in bringing buyers from the country and surrounding towns, who invested heavily in the addition.

A fine lot was given away just as advertised, the drawing taking place on the grounds, any one registering and present on the grounds being entitled to a chance. The lucky man was H. Cardin, of the firm of Couvrette & Cardin, liverymen. Today Mr. Cardin was presented with a warranty deed to lot 8, block 5, Grand View Place addition. The lot is priced at $125, and Mr. Cardin is to be congratulated on his good fortune. Another drawing will take place next Sunday under the same conditions. Sale continues all week.

From the statements of those who have purchased lots in the addition, it is evident that they are getting good bargains and are all well satisfied.
