Tabor Presbyterian Cemetery

Section 17, Tabor Township, Polk County, Minnesota

Tabor Presbyterian Cemetery is on the south edge of Tabor, on 380th Ave.

The Tabor Presbyterian Church was organized in the fall of 1889 with the help of Rev. Pisek, although one source states it was organized in August of 1884.  A church was built in 1891 in the town of Tabor.   In 1951-52 the Angus and Tabor Presbyterian Churches merged and built a new church in Angus which was struck by lightening in 1998. A new church was completed in 1999.  The cemetery in Tabor is still in use.  There is a plaque that reads "In memory of George Maruska, Jerome Filipi, Fred Filipi and Edward Dostal.

Thanks to Ann for the picture and cemetery listing; August, 2005.
